Gina McCarthy, Assistant Administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency?s Office of Air and Radiation, will be a keynote speaker at EUEC 2012, the USA?s largest power, utility and environment conference to be held at the Phoenix Convention Center from January 30 via February 1, 2012. McCarthy will address the EPA?s new Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS), the very first national standards to regulate power plant emissions of mercury and toxic air pollution issued on December 21, 2011.
